Tectonite is a unique material, developed by Franke for the youthful consumer. Tectonite consists of SMC (Sheet Mould Coating), fiberglass and PIMC (Powder In Mould Coating)

- UV resistant and resistant to abrasion
- Resistant to high temperatures up to 300 degrees

- Light and strong

All our sinks are supplied as standard with the following parts:

The sink consists of fiber composite material combined with 45% mineral fillers, fiberglass with a composite base for high impact resistance (up to 470 MPa), temperature (up to 250 °C), wear, stains and hydrolysis (action of water).

Fiberglass, using the likeness of reinforced concrete, serves as a mechanical connection to the rest of the components. Its reliability and extreme durability are recognized worldwide; this material can be found in the automotive, aviation and medical sectors.

These sinks are 100% manufactured in France using: high-tech industrial robots and the unique know-how of our operators. The sinks are available on request in the colors black, white, anthracite concrete gray and sand.

Our recommendations:

• Do not place objects with a temperature exceeding 250°C
• Do not use sharp objects on the sink
• Avoid dropping heavy or sharp objects as much as possible
• Avoid stagnation of all substances
• Avoid the accumulation of limestone deposits due to the hardness of the supply water

Clean the surface of the product with warm soapy water and a soft damp cloth.

To remove stubborn stains, use a cleaner with a grain-free formula so it won’t scratch the sink and rinse well.

Never use scouring agent solvents, abrasives, bleach, acids, strong detergents, solvent-based detergents on the product.

Hard water can cause white lime marks on your sink. If so, use a towel to dry your sink after each use.

Food-grade paraffin oil can fix all defects in the material aspects of the sink, caused by normal use of the sink.
