Pure.Sink Comfort Short Stainless Steel Sink 50x35cm PVD Space-Saving Under-Counter Over-Counter and Flush-Mount PCM5035-61 Gun Metal

Pure.Sink Comfort Short Stainless Steel Sink 50x35cm PVD Space-Saving Under-Counter, Over-Counter, and Flush-Mount PCM5035-61 Gun Metal

The Pure.Sink Comfort short stainless steel sink, 50 x 35 cm, in the color Gun Metal PVD combines a modern, luxurious look with a smart, space-saving design. Thanks to its exceptionally short interior depth of just 35 cm, this sink is particularly well-suited for compact kitchens, shallower countertops, and kitchen layouts where a standard sink would take up too much space.

Despite its compact front-to-back dimensions, the sink features a generous interior width of 50 cm and a comfortable depth of 178 mm. As a result, this unique kitchen sink offers ample space for washing pots, plates, and other everyday kitchenware.

The sink is crafted from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and finished with a stylish “Gun Metal ” PVD coating. The precision-welded construction, flat bottom, and subtly rounded interior corners with a 10-mm radius create a modern and high-quality appearance. Thanks to its 1-mm flat rim, the sink is suitable for undermount, top-mount, and flush-mount installations.

Unique space-saving sink with a short side of 35 cm

What makes this Pure.Sink Comfort sink special is the combination of a spacious interior width of 50 cm and a short side measuring just 35 cm. Traditional kitchen sinks often have a larger front-to-back dimension, making them less suitable for compact countertops. This special model offers a practical solution when the available countertop depth is limited.

With internal dimensions of 500 x 350 mm and total external dimensions of 540 x 390 mm, this Gun Metal stainless steel sink offers ample washing capacity without taking up unnecessary countertop depth.

The sink depth of 178 mm provides ample space for daily kitchen tasks, including washing pots, baking dishes, tableware, and other kitchen utensils.

The 10 mm inner radius creates a sleek and modern design with subtly rounded corners. This makes it easier to remove dirt and food residue. The flat bottom contributes to a minimalist look and practical ease of use.

Ideal for compact kitchens and limited countertop depth

The Pure.Sink Comfort space-saving 50 x 35 cm sink in “ Gun Metal ” PVD is particularly well-suited for situations where available countertop depth is limited, but a spacious sink is still desired.

Thanks to its special dimensions, this sink can be used in various kitchen layouts:

• Shallow kitchen countertops: a practical solution when a traditional sink with a larger front-to-back depth won’t fit.
• Small kitchens: ideal for making efficient use of available countertop space without sacrificing unnecessary sink space.
• Compact apartments: suitable for smartly laid-out kitchens with limited dimensions.
• Utility kitchens: a convenient sink area for daily tasks without requiring a lot of countertop depth.
• Kitchen islands: suitable for kitchen designs where available countertop space must be organized efficiently.
• Pantries and office spaces: a stylish and practical sink solution for everyday use.
• Kitchen renovations: a great option for existing kitchen layouts where space is limited.

Thanks to these unique dimensions, the sink is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a short 35-cm stainless steel sink with a generous width of 50 cm, combined with a luxurious dark gray metallic finish.

Suitable for undermount, top-mount, and flush-mount installation

The Pure.Sink Comfort Gun Metal PVD sink PCM5035-61 is designed for three different installation options. This provides maximum flexibility during installation and allows the sink to be combined with various compatible countertop materials.

• Flush-mount: The sink is installed flush with the countertop for a sleek and virtually seamless look. The 1-mm flat rim is particularly well-suited for this.
• Undermount: The sink is mounted beneath the countertop, allowing the countertop to flow smoothly and making it easy to keep clean.
• Top-mount: The sink is installed from above into the countertop, with the rim resting on the countertop.

These versatile installation options make the sink suitable for both new kitchens and renovation projects. Always check in advance whether the chosen countertop is suitable for the desired installation method and whether there is sufficient space available for the sink, mounting hardware, and drain connection.

Luxurious “ Gun Metal ” PVD finish and high-quality 18/10 stainless steel

The distinctive “Gun Metal ” PVD finish gives this compact sink an exclusive and contemporary look. The dark gray metallic color offers a stylish alternative to traditional stainless steel and pairs beautifully with black, gray, wood, and natural stone countertops.

The sink is crafted from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel. The “ Gun Metal ” color is applied using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology, which applies a thin, wear-resistant coating to the stainless steel. This surface treatment ensures a durable and decorative finish suitable for daily use.

The precision-welded construction ensures a high-quality finish and clean lines. The combination of strong stainless steel, a flat bottom, and subtly rounded inner corners makes this sink hygienic, practical, and easy to maintain.

Pair this sink with a matching kitchen faucet in “ Gun Metal ” PVD for a harmonious and modern look. The dark gray metallic color also adds a stylish accent when paired with black kitchen accessories or natural materials.

Hygienic and Easy to Maintain

The Pure.Sink Comfort sink is designed with hygiene and everyday ease of use in mind. Thanks to its smooth surface and slightly rounded inner corners, dirt, water residue, and food scraps can be easily removed.

The integrated drain with matching Gun Metal basket strainer helps catch larger food scraps before they enter the drain. The Easyclean overflow contributes to ease of use and helps reduce the risk of water flowing over the edge of the sink when the drain is closed.

To preserve the Gun Metal PVD finish, we recommend cleaning the sink regularly with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid harsh cleaning agents, scouring pads, and abrasive cleaning products. Dry the sink after use to minimize water spots and limescale buildup as much as possible.

PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition and this results in a coating that is much stronger than galvanised chrome, for example, and yet shines just as beautifully. Another not insignificant advantage of PVD coatings is that they are relatively environmentally friendly. To apply the coating, a liquid metal is vaporised in a vacuum environment. This means that the process requires less high temperatures. The vaporised metal is then applied to the product in one or more layers. These layers are wafer-thin so that the design of the product is not affected by the top layer.

PVD coatings are not only applied to taps, but to all kinds of metal objects that are used intensively and still require a beautiful colour. Think, for example, of cutlery, door fittings and even watches.

Advantages of PVD:

• solid coating;
• resistant to most cleaning agents;
• does not oxidise;
• shiny, wafer-thin top layer;
• scratch-resistant;
• environmentally friendly.

Disadvantages of PVD:

• it is a bit more expensive;
• the colour options are (for the time being) somewhat more limited.
